About DIFD

Background of Do it for Daron (DIFD)

DIFD is an organization working the Royal Hospital to raise more awareness to educate people about youth mental health. They also support and help youth who struggle with mental health.

How DIFD started:

The organization started after Daron Richardson, who committed suicide at the age of 14 years old. She is the daughter of Stephanie and Luke Richardson (Assistant Coach of Montreal Canadians). Daron was a hockey player, she was a bright person, and a great leader to her team.
